Studio

Loudermilk Conservation LLC occupies a 600 square foot studio space in Northern Virginia for painting conservation treatment, analysis, and photography.  

The studio is secure and alarmed, housing state-of-the-art specialized conservation equipment including a 6 x 9 foot Museum Services Corporation heated suction table, Leica stereomicroscope, Fein Optics polarized light microscope, digital microscopes, AGS2000 Aerosol Generator, portable suction platen, a variety of task lights, UV lights, Willard electric spatula and hot air pen.

In compliance with the AIC Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice, the conservation studio has comprehensive health and safety equipment including Air Purification Systems portable fume extraction units plus explosion proof solvent cabinets and solvent waste containers. Hazardous waste disposal procedures are in place.
